John G Siegrist

Jay Siegrist is a Senior Portfolio Manager at State Street Global Advisors, primarily responsible for emerging market equity strategies on the Systematic Active Equity team. He manages the active and enhanced emerging markets portfolios, as well as the emerging markets small cap strategy. Within emerging markets he is primarily focused on Asia. 

Jay joined the firm in 1998, and has been focused on emerging markets equities since 2004. He has worked previously in Operations and as an assistant portfolio manager on developed markets strategies. 

Jay graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a major in Economics and Accounting. He also holds an MBA from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
