Vladimir Gorshkov

Vlad Gorshkov is a Macro Policy Strategist at State Street Global Advisors. In this capacity, he is responsible for research and thought leadership, linking government policy and geopolitics to financial markets. He joined SSGA from the country/sovereign risk team at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, a multilateral development bank focused on emerging and frontier markets. Prior to the EBRD, he was a regional political and security analyst for the U.S. military, focusing on Russia and Central Asia. He holds BS and MS degrees from the Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in Washington DC., and speaks fluent Russian as well as has reading fluency in German and French. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
