Kyle Murray

Kyle Murray is a Senior Associate at State Street Global Advisors. He’s currently enrolled in the Investments Professional Development Program. This program consists of four rotations across different investment teams, giving him broad exposure to various facets of investment management.
In his first rotation, Kyle worked as a junior portfolio manager within the Investment Solutions Group (ISG), a multi-asset solutions team serving institutional clients like state pension funds and central banks. He supported portfolio managers by overseeing cash flows, strategically allocating assets, simulating portfolio success in various macro environments, tracking rebalances, and participating in tactical asset allocation meetings.
Kyle’s second rotation is with the Investment Strategy & Research Group, where he helps produce market insights for both internal stakeholders and external clients, often published on SSGA.com.
Kyle studied under the Financial Analyst concentration at the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. While at UMass, he ran a cryptocurrency-focused YouTube channel with 7,000 subscribers, applying fundamental analysis with innovative approaches to the cryptocurrency markets. He was also an active member of the UMass Blockchain Club.
In addition to his current role, Kyle is enrolled in the CFA program and aims to earn the Level 1 designation later this year.
