Gordon Kearney

Gordon is Head of Investments for SSGA Europe Limited. Having taken this role on in 2025, Gordon has investment oversight and governance responsibility for investments aligned to SSGA Europe Limited. Prior to this role Gordon was a Senior Investment Manager in SSGA’s Investment Solutions Group (ISG) with lead responsibility for tactical asset allocation portfolio management in Europe, focussing on absolute target return and benchmark relative tactical portfolios in the region.
Gordon joined SSGA in November 2007 (via Bank of Ireland Asset Management), originally in the Liability Driven Investment area before migrating to the Investment Solutions Group where he researched and delivered investment solutions. Prior to joining SSGA, Gordon spent five years as a consultant in the actuarial and employee benefits division of Willis Group.
Gordon holds a BSc in Financial and Actuarial Mathematics from Dublin City University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in the UK and holds an Executive MBA from London Business School.
